Parking
The Museum offers a $3 discount on parking at three nearby garages. Visitors should present their parking ticket at the admissions desk to receive disount validation. View a map which includes locations of participating garages.

General Information & Admissions

General Admission

$12 adults, $10 seniors, $7 students, children 12 and under are admitted free.

Free admission every Wednesday from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Note: This applies to general Museum admission only. There may be a separate admission price for public programs.

Sunday-Tuesday, Thursday 10 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.;
Wednesday 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (During Daylight Savings Time)
Friday and the eve of Jewish Holidays
10 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time)
Closed Saturdays, Jewish Holidays, and Thanksgiving Day.

Ticket Reservations
Tickets are available at the admissions desk in the Spitzer Grand Foyer upon
arrival. For advance tickets, call 1.646.437.4202.

Services
Strollers are allowed in the Museum at the discretion of management. Baby back-packs and Snuglis are available at no charge. Both men's and women's restrooms are equipped with baby changing stations. All backpacks must be checked. A coat check is provided free of charge. A kosher café is open during regular Museum hours.

Food, drinks, and photography are not allowed inside the Museum galleries. Please turn off your cell phone or switch it to vibrate while in the Museum.

Audio Tour
English, Spanish, Japanese, and Russian versions of our acclaimed Antenna™ audio tour are available. The award-winning English version is narrated by Meryl Streep and Itzhak Perlman. Neckloops and transcripts in regular and large print are available. Audio tours available for $5 in the Visitor Center.

The length of the audio tour varies according to the visitor's preferences. The full length of the audio tour is 1.5 hours. Visitors also have the option of exploring several galleries in greater depth, which could add up to an additional 1.5 hours to the tour.

Assistive Listening Devices - (neckloops) are available for use with Audio Guides.
     
large print   Transcripts - (both regular and large print) of our Audio Guide are also available.

Both are free with the purchase of an audio guide, and are available upon request at the Museum's Admissions Desk.

    Services for Visitors with Mobility Impairments
wheelchair access   All public areas of the Museum, including the Museum entrance, all galleries, Edmond J. Safra Hall, Abigael's at the Museum, the Pickman Museum Shop, and Andy Goldsworthy's Garden of Stones are wheelchair accessible.

Additionally, wheelchairs are available in the main lobby on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are located on all floors of the Museum.

Edmond J. Safra Hall Theater - Infrared assistive listening devices (headsets and neckloops) are available at the Museum's Admissions Desk. A major credit card or driver's license is needed as a security deposit.

Group tours of the Museum may be tailored to visitors' special accommodations.

Public Programs

Edmond J. Safra Hall is equipped with an Infrared Sound Enhancement System. Assistive Listening Devices (headsets and neckloops) are available upon request at the Admissions Desk.
